Automatic Pathfinding and Belt Placement
The Demo V8 update introduced a complete rework of the conveyor belt system. Conveyors now snap much easier during placement and feature automatic pathfinding, making them much easier to work with.
When drawing transport lines across uneven factory terrain, belts automatically find clear slopes and orientations. In addition, the conveyor at the Hay Sell Stand snaps automatically, ensuring seamless delivery into your primary cash repository.
Snapping Modes: Pressing F for Freeform Routing
While automatic snapping simplifies straight runs, tight factory layouts often require non-standard bends. Players can decide whether conveyors snap or remain freeform.
Press F to activate No Snap Mode when threading belts through cramped machine clusters. Toggling this mode lets you rotate belt segments smoothly without sticking to rigid grid alignments.
Balancing Flows: U-Splitters and U-Joiners
As throughput increases, distributing materials evenly between processing lines is critical. The logistical network supports specialized splitters and joiners, including U-Splitters and U-Joiners.
Use splitters to divide bulk hay lines between fuel generators and processing crafters. Always check belt arrows to ensure lines flow in the correct direction into machine intake ports.
